Ethiopia on Track to Halve the Poverty Rate by 2015, United Nations Says


Ethiopia will probably meet the Millennium Development Goal of halving the poverty rate by 2015 assuming it maintains current economic growth levels, according to the draft copy of a report written by the United Nations.

Ethiopia proposes over $5 billion budget for 2010/2011 fiscal year


The Ethiopian Council of Ministers on Friday endorsed the $5.3 billion proposed budget for the 2010/2011 fiscal year, which is a record high in Ethiopia’s history.

Condo lottery back in favour
