Ethiopian Economics Association calls for Extraordinary General Assembly to Discuss the Association's FateNovember 16th, 2013
As per the Article of the Association Article 2.2b, the Executive Committee of EEA has called an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Association on November 23, 2013 from 8:30 – 12:00 at EEA Conference Hall. The main agenda of the day is to discuss and deliberate on the renewal of EEA License.

Despite many efforts, the goals described above have not been realized to date. However, achieving food security at a global scale is not an issue for politicians alone. Global civil society, including science, has to contribute too. Gambella-The Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) program-supported by Jhpiego and funded with PEPFAR grants through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Ethiopia-has circumcised over 32,000 adult men in Gambella region since October 2009. Since the launch of the VMMC program, there is an increase in the uptake of HIV counseling and testing as well as sexually transmitted infections detection and treatment with referral and linkage facilitation to ART services.

We have not encountered the type of problems such as those experienced by the other operators. However, as an extra precaution, Ethiopian has decided to remove its four Dreamliners from operation starting from January 17, 2013.
