Office to award Ethiopian technologistsNovember 29th, 2010
Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology said it is to organize a contest for Ethiopian technologists, focused on problem solving innovations.
Office acting director, Abdurazak Umer told ENA on Saturday that the contest will award innovations addressed the basic problems of the community.
He said the contest is organized in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Korean government.
The director said the competitors could use more than 30 million inventions of patent right information reserved in the office to come up with their own innovations.
The winners will receive an international award from WIPO. --ENA
