Prime Minister Meles Zenawi here on Saturday held talks with First Vice President of Sudan and President of the Government of Southern Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The discussion was centered on the current situation and the election in Sudan.

The premier expressed hope that all sides will be delighted over the election held in a peaceful manner.

Meles said Ethiopia is keen to further enhance its trade and investment relations with the Sudan.

The two parties also discussed on the current situation in Sudan and regional issues. -- ENA
