GFI Software today announced its GFI MailArchiver™ solution has won Product of the Year 2012 at the sixth annual Network Computing Awards ceremony in London, UK. The awards are determined by an online vote.
The Network Computing Awards highlights the products and services that have made a positive contribution to improving IT networking infrastructure within public and private sector organisations. They are the only awards to recognise excellence in the networking industry where the winners are determined entirely by online nomination and voting, so are a litmus test of end-user market perceptions of what the best networking products are in the market.
GFI MailArchiver enables SMBs to address many of the challenges associated with their email system, including managing increasing volumes of email and attachments; maintaining the performance of Microsoft Exchange servers; relying too heavily on PST files or tape backup to retrieve old or deleted emails; complying with the data retention requirements of government regulations; and ensuring that critical information contained in email is not lost and can be restored for business continuity purposes in the event of systems failures or natural disaster. GFI MailArchiver now includes MailInsights, a first-of-its-kind data analysis tool that enables SMBs to maximise the wealth of information contained within their archived email through data mining and report generation.
“This award from Network Computing recognises our efforts to provide SMBs with the tools they need to keep email effectively archived, combined with powerful tools to help organisations extract customer value and internal data intelligence from unstructured email archives,” said John Spoor, Channel Sales Manager, Middle East & Africa, GFI Software.
GFI Software sells its award-winning products and solutions across the Middle East Africa region including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, among others.
